Dear Yew-Meng,

Frankly, it has to be looked at on a case-by-case basis.

For example, if there is a river, the contours of the river in relation to your environment/site and location.

Also the size, gradient and the `interaction' of the hill with other features on the ground and the river is another consideration. Even the type of rock formation should be taken into consideration.

As an exposed hill or a hill bearing more than it's fair share of weight/gravity, may or may not be affected by e.g. landslides etc...

Overall, I can't say for sure at the moment.

Feel free if you have a section or topo of the profile e.g. `street map' you can upload it to the forum for some comments. (More details the better.)
