1. The main purpose of an effective metal cure against several bad earth and bad wood elements is the `constant' use or application of a metal cure.

2. A stationary metal cure e.g. 6-coins in cases where there are a combination of bad wood plus bad earth (especially #5) may not be enough.

3. An alternative is to place the 6-coins into a glass jar (the size of a jam jar) and add a spoonful of salt. Water is filled to between 1/3 to 1/2 (of the jam jar) or covering the surface of all the 6-coins. This is one way to activate a constant flow of metal.

4. Frankly, no one can tell exactly which is better i.e. a clock pendulum or a music pendulum. As it varies with the manufacturer and size of the object.

5. A simple test is by-the-ear. So long as one can hear a distinct `tick-tock' sound in a quite room, this is overall acceptable. Unfortunately, no one has looked into it in great detail even to the extend of using decibel meters. Therefore, play it by-the-year.

6. If one stands nearby and hears a constant `tick-tock' then, it should be fine. Since there is a constant `metal' movement.

As mentioned above, frankly, in my opinion all Feng Shui practitioners (even myself) simply not able to say for sure whether a brass pendulum or music pendulum is better. No one can tell for sure at the moment. Again, play it by the ear.

The sound should be in harmony with the surrounding. And not make a din.

In the 1960's and 1970's, Chinese made metal alarm clocks (with metallic movements) were popular. In fact, in my opinion, these are equally effective.

It is the sound or `metallic' sound that is more important. Much like constant metal `clinking'.

For the Chinese, it is considered very unlucky to give as a present a `Clock'. One has to buy one ourselves.

Wealth sectors or sectors under Flying Star Feng Shui that has water stars can compliment a clock pendulum.

Here, water and metal are complimentary to each other.

Thus, given your definition of wealth sector; if a sector has water stars and it is like activating water star with metal element.

The reverse is true. For example, if a house has a double `7's at the front door area. #7 represents small metal x 2 at the front door area. When there is metal elements at a sector, water is used to enhance the sector. Water in the form of a low fountain or fish tank pond. Here, one can then truly say that one is enhancing the `Wealth' sector e.g. double 7 sector with water element.

A complimentary flow under the Five elements productive cycle concept.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
