1. Here, the danger as to whether, saying whether the main door is at South-West or South-East should be looked at (totally).

2. This is where, one should follow a method used totally. For example, the instructions provided under

https://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm

has a (total) set of sets or instructions and this would lead to or result in how the house is considered say a South-East house.

3. There are many other methods used. More commonly, when a Luopan is used, it is used to look at the sitting and facing direction.

4. Depending on the experience of the practitioner, there may be differences in how the centrepoint is "found".

If the centrepoint differs from one practitioner to another, and the method used to find the main door is based on this then, the main door either SW or SE may differ greatly.. or our method used to find the centrepoint differs from the practitioner.

5. Some other practitioners may consider instead SW or SE to mean the `back door direction' e.g. which is common in the 4 good and 4 bad (Eight house theory).

6. Therefore, it is better to follow step-by-step instructions of the site rather than pick out thus the end result i.e. SW? SE? ??

7. You have a point here. Usually, ONLY those who "purely" practise or do not use Compass School FS and practise using only Shapes and Form do that. Or (just go by feelings only).

It is, my personal belief that if one hires a Professional FS practitioner, they would at least use your YEAR of birth and the house YEAR of birth.

But this is the bare minimium and; to me; I still feel that this standard is below the average for a FS practitioner. Unless, they are very very skilled in Shapes and Forms only but may still be questionable.

I know that some FS practitioners in Singapore do the basic such as the Eight House Theory only and mix this with Shapes and Form.

With more knowledge and `demands' for a more thorough FS audit, it is better to use more tools and essential to this are the Flying Star (birth chart of the house) and determing the element strength (at least).

Currently, more crucial is that if everything is OK in your home, you may not need a second opinion.

I feel, usually in situations where one is often (or family members feeling sick) quite often or other `mishaps' that may happen.. then perhaps, do consult a second opinion.

For other situations like wanting more luck etc.. since you had already paid the person, there must be (I feel) most likely there may not be a quantum leap in LUCK...

Thus, you must evaluate, whether is it worth the while to get a second opinion but if there may not be a quantum leap in LUCK, this may not be cost justified.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
