Dear Anon,

It would not be advisable to have you rhead face the direction of the entrance to your room (door?). Alternatively, one should not sleep based on the `coffin' position with the legs facing the bedroom door.

I know of some FS practitioners who would not mind:

1. as mentioned by u leaving a 45 degree hollow.

2. leaving the bed at the centre of the bedroom where the bedhead does not rest (at least against a wall).

In my opinion, the above positions are not ideal or inauspicious - to me.

Although your description of South = Fire is correct; any thing else, mentioned by you is hard to apply and there is no basis to say that South = your best element. (Also, your element and strength could change this equation) i.e. weak fire or strong fire?

Frankly, this should be done in consultant with a Feng Shui consultant who would have looked at the entire house.

Other considerations include - avoiding poison arrows being pointed towards the main entrance or letting the main entrance door face NE (devil's gate) or SW (devil's backdoor).

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
